STATION NORTH BILLBOARD & BANNER 2011
This design was chosen as part of a juried call for entries from the Station North Billboard Project. The previous billboard was dark and not very dynamic. I deconstructed the original SNAED logo, which included the train and name, and combined it with a bright, abstracted map of the area, connecting the design with its surroundings.
The billboard stands on top of the landmark Copy Cat building in Baltimore (at the corner of Guilford Avenue and East Oliver Street), in the center of an emerging arts district. The design was also adapted for use as a free-standing banner and postcard.
